To minimise your moving stress we offer a full packing service which is carried out by our experienced staff using high quality materials to keep your belongings safe. The pack can be completed at times that are convenient to you and tailor made to fulfil your requirements.
Full Packing Service
The full packing service is popular among our customers as the stress of the physical move is completely lifted from you and our expertly trained team ensure everything is packed securely for transport. On the working day before your move (if that is convenient for you) your belongings are wrapped using acid free paper, which leaves no residue on your items, packed into cardboard boxes that are then sealed with tape before being loaded onto one of our vehicles. Most properties can be packed in one full day, but sometimes our teams spend longer, depending on the number of items being packed and the amount of fragile items. This service offers you complete peace of mind, as you can feel confident that your belongings are going to arrive safely to your new home.
Part Packing Service
If you have certain rooms or objects that you would like packed then speak to our estimator when they call round for your home visit. It may be just a few fragile items that you would prefer to be professionally wrapped to aid successful travelling.
If you feel confident with packing non fragile items yourself but not so sure your fragile items will arrive in one piece, we can offer a fragile only pack in which items such as plates, ornaments and glassware are safely packed by our team. Similar to the full packing service, our team will arrive the day before your move (if that is convenient to you) with all the packing materials needed to pack your fragile items. Each item will be wrapped in acid free paper, which leaves no residue on your items, packed into cardboard boxes that are then sealed with tape before being loaded onto one of our vehicles. A good time to discuss this service is when your move coordinator initially visits so you can point out the fragile items that will need to be packed by our team.
Home pack
If you would like to pack everything yourself, we can supply all the essential packing materials and advice needed. The packing materials that we provide include sturdy cardboard boxes, strong tape and acid free paper. On the move day, we will bring wardrobe boxes (that contain hanging rails) so there’s no need to empty wardrobes as we will simply transfer your clothes from your wardrobe into our hanging rail wardrobe boxes before we move the wardrobe. Costs
The costs of each of these extra services vary, depending on the amount of furniture and belongings you have, and can be discussed with your move coordinator during your quotation.
Waste Disposal Licence
Mounts Removals and Storage own a Waste Disposal Licence so are able to responsibly remove any waste from your property. Your Move Coordinator will be able to discuss this with you further at the time of quotation, or if you find you have more waste than you expected while packing your house, it is a service we can add in part way through the process.
